5 Days Gorilla, Lake Bunyoyi and Lake Mburo national Park

This 5-day tour Starts and ends in Entebbe! With this 5-day Safari, you will visit 3 destinations and do Gorilla trekking, Game drives cultural experience, and relaxation in Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 1:
You will be picked by our guide who will meet and brief you about this 5-day Lake safari. You will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park passing small towns along Kampala-Mbarara road arriving in time for lunch, short relaxation, and a boat cruise on the lake. This tour provides an opportunity to stop at the Equator crossing for photography and some experiments to prove that indeed this is the center of planet Earth. A Approximately 4-5 hours’ Drive

Day 2:
After breakfast, you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with an en-route game drive to recap what you could have missed the previous day. Lake Mburo is a small national park and on any game drive, you are likely to see zebras, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, and other animals by driving a very short distance. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to half of all mountain gorillas in the whole world. The drive from Lake Mburo to Bwindi National Park is very scenic as it passes through the plains of Ntungamo, the rolling and terraced hills on Kigezi before joining the forests in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Day 3:
Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours depending on the gorilla family nearby but it’s well worth the effort.

Day 4:
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi which according to existing information is the deepest lake in Uganda. Formed as a result of lava damning, the lake has many islands each with its rich history. It’s one of the nice places to relax after your gorilla trek. At lake bunyonyi, you may choose to take a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi to explore the many Islands in the lake, go hill hiking for those who are fit enough, and visit the Batwa community in Kabale. Retire to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight. Approximately 2-3 hours’ Drive

Day 5:
After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport with a lunch stop at the Equator crossing. Proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight out. Approximately 8-9 hours’ Drive
