Good morning! Our day starts with a visit to Uçhisar Panorama, perched in the highest village between Nevsehir City and Goreme Village. Explore the strategic castle, once an observatory safeguarding the region. Next, we venture to Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Cappadocia's extraordinary subterranean wonders. This impressive structure is a testament to ancient engineering and ingenuity. We then set off for Nar Crater Lake, formed by a volcanic eruption in the not-so-distant past. The lake's hot sulfurous waters are believed to have therapeutic properties, attracting visitors seeking relief for various ailments. Enjoy a local restaurant lunch before continuing to the picturesque Ihlara Valley. This magnificent canyon, carved by the Melendiz River over thousands of years, offers a tranquil walking experience surrounded by natural beauty. Our final destination is the Pigeon Valley, named for the numerous pigeon houses carved into the rocks and cliffs. These structures once played a crucial role in pigeon breeding and farming. As our day concludes, we'll return to the hotel, having explored Cappadocia's captivating history, natural wonders, and unique cultural heritage.
