Zelve Open Air Museum was a monastic retreat between the 9th and 13th centuries.The site was inhabited until 1952 when villagers were relocated to nearby Aktepe due to safety concerns. Paşabag (Monks Valley); This place is one of the most interesting ones with its three-headed colossal fairy chimneys. The hermits that used to live there were inspired by Saint Simeon and carved their cells admiring his way of life.
