Early morning leave from Colombo to Sinharaja. Your adventure in Sinharaja Forest Reserve starts after about 2 hours of driving, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and biodiversity hotspot. Embark on a guided trek through the dense rainforest. Spot endemic bird species like the Sri Lanka Blue Magpie and Red-faced Malkoha. Learn about the unique Flora, including rare orchids and medicinal plants.

Cool off with a refreshing dip at the Sinharaja waterfalls. Keep an eye out for colourful butterflies and elusive purple-faced langurs. Wear leech socks to protect yourself from these harmless but annoying forest dwellers.

Later in the day, continue the journey to Udawalawe National Park. Your afternoon safari starts at around 2:00 pm and lasts about 4 hours. This is a perfect opportunity to witness a large number of wild elephants and many other animals roaming in the jungle. Overnight stay in Yala.

Day 2: Yala National Park - Wildlife Safari Extravaganza
Rise early for a thrilling day at Yala National Park, famous for its leopard population and diverse ecosystems. Embark on an early morning jeep safari for the best wildlife viewing opportunities. Spot elephants, crocodiles, and if you're lucky, the elusive Sri Lankan leopard. Birdwatchers will be in heaven with over 200 species to observe. Later, drive to the hotel in Mirissa, check in and leisure.

Day 3: Mirissa - Marine Marvels and Coastal Bliss
Wrap up your nature tour with a day dedicated to Sri Lanka's marine wonders in the charming coastal town of Mirissa. Set sail on an early morning whale watching tour. Spot blue whales, sperm whales, and playful dolphins in their natural habitat. Learn about marine conservation efforts from knowledgeable guides.
