When you arrive at the meeting point you will be welcomed by a manager and the rest of the team who will check that you have suitable clothing for the flight. You will then be assigned to a pilot and fitted into your harness and helmet.
Your pilot will brief you about the takeoff, as this varies depending on the conditions. Sometimes you will need to run a bit before flying, but this is easy and your well-trained and experienced assistants will ensure a smooth takeoff.
After the initial buzz of the takeoff, you can settle comfortably into the harness and enjoy the ride. It really is like flying like a bird: come see for yourself.
