From Kigali : One Day Golden Monkey and Cultural tour

This trip combine bits of Tracking the Volcanoes Nat park and visiting a local communities to learn their culture and also immense yourself and get to experience through songs and dances.
The tour will start and end in Kigali the capital of Rwanda.
Our driver will pick you from your Hotel or Lodge(after having breakfast or with packed breakfast) at 4:30 am to start on your 2 hours journey to Volcanoes National park. The journey to Volcanoes national park takes an average of 2-3 hours and on reaching the park offices, you will be briefed by park officers. You will then be led into the forest by a ranger guide to track the primates. Proceed in the forest as you view the mountains, trek to find the primates as you spot out different bird species. The trekking takes about 2-4 hours to locate the golden monkeys. These monkeys live near the edge of the park in bamboo forest, when you locate them you will only be allowed to spend one hour with them. Experience their day to day life as they jump from tree to tree which is interesting although a bit difficult to take a picture. After an encounter with the golden monkeys you will be allowed to have your lunch in the middle of the forest as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of bamboo and rain forest (if you have packed one or you il go into the city to have one).

Right after your Lunch, you will visit a Cultural centre where you'll join the local brew makers to understand the chemistry about the process of brewing a local beer from bananas fruits. If you find the activity interesting enough you can join the women in squeezing the juice out of the bananas and drink a glass of juice (Optional). Understand how long juice takes to turn into alcohol after adding in sorghum floor. Enjoy the big glass of our local brew. Among other activities they also do basket weaving and with your visit this local community will be proud of this activity and families supported financially

Later, our guide will drive you back to Kigali.
