7-Day Vampire in Transylvania Dracula Tour

Day 1, Saturday, Bucharest

Day 2, Sunday, Bucharest – Poienari - Sibiu
Drive to Poienari and visit the ruins of Dracula’s old fortress. You will have to climb over 1400 stairs to reach the top. Next, explore the Medieval Saxon City of Sibiu, the European Cultural Capital for 2007, known for containing the largest concentration of tourist attractions in Romania. Day 3, Monday, Sibiu - Hunedoara - Alba Iulia - Turda

Day 6, Thursday, Sighisoara - Bran - Brasov

Day 7, Friday, Brasov - Sinaia - Targoviste - Bucharest
Travel to Sinaia, the pearl of Romanian mountain resorts. Explore the impressive Peleş Castle, built in 1873 as the summer residence of the Royal Family. Peleș is one of the best preserved Royal residencies in Europe. Next, visit Targoviste, the former capital of Walachia and the site of Vlad the Impaler's old court. Arrive in Bucharest at about 7:00 pm (based on normal traffic conditions).
