Taste the flavors typical to Porto and try local wines on this 3.5-hour culinary tour. First your local guide will take you to a confeitaria for a pão de ló (Portuguese sponge cake) and an espresso. Stop at a market to try sardines served with olives and tomato sauce and a glass of vinho verde, a white wine from northwest Portugal. Then head to the heart of the city for the best bifana (a sandwich filled with thin slices of pork) in town.
Next taste a unique dish from Porto called francesinha. This appetizer is made with beef, melted cheese, and a spicy sauce. It is served with a small glass of lambreta (Portuguese draft beer).
