Experience the incredible waves of the Atlantic Ocean on surf adventure just outside Lisbon. Discover beautiful white sand beaches and surf spots that are just 10 to 30 minutes’ drive from Lisbon city center. Find waves that are suitable for your skill level, from beginner to advanced.

Get to surf some of the coolest hidden spots with a local surfer. The Costa da Caparica is where the Tejo River flows into the ocean. The coastline receives swells of all kinds.

Surf with different sized boards, depending on your skillset and experience. Try different shapes, and discover the most suitable board for you as an expert instructor gives you tips.

Full surf equipment and wetsuits are provided. Choose the option that includes video footage if you’d like to check out your technique and make any adjustments.

You must be confident to swim in ocean waves in order to participate in this activity. Surfing is a sport that requires a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Please note that the 4-hour class is divided into 2 parts. 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon
Meet your guide at the beach bar of Praia da Mata, Costa da Caparica. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure.
