Short and immersive experience of the Island, with focus on the west side
This is a Off-Road Tour to the west side of the island of São Miguel. On this tour you will have the unique opportunity to go literally on the "rim of the volcano" through the fun off-road path of Caminho da Cumeeira where one of the highlights is the stoppage at Pico da Cruz, a high point where you will have panoramic views above the wonderful crater and of several lakes of Sete Cidades. You will also have the opportunity to visit the picturesque & rural parish of Sete Cidades, the Twin Lakes, the tunnel, the arches bridge and the Neogothic style church of São Nicolau. Throughout the tour you will have also the chance to appreciate several other scenic views such as Pico do Carvão viewpoint, "Nove Janelas" wall, Cumeeiras lookout, Cerrado das Freiras viewpoint & many others with photo stops.
