Find out what secrets an underground city is hiding. Explore the museum of the underground Krakow and discover Krakow of the Middle Ages and its rich world of legends, secrets, witches and the Inquisition.
Your guide will meet you at the entrance to the museum and you start your tour into the past. During your 2-hour museum tour you will discover a unique archaeological reserve in Europe, covering nearly 43,000 sq.ft (4000 sq.m). It was fashioned under the surface of the Main Market Square to provide a display for the treasures that had been found and narrate the turbulent history of Medieval Krakow.
The oldest history is exemplified by reconstructions of 11th-century burials presented in the exhibition. See the treasures hidden underground, learn a lot with the help of touchscreens, holograms, projections and documentary films. At the end of the tour, when you go to the surface again, you will see Krakow from a new perspective.
