Enjoy a ride on the beautiful Lake Titicaca, visit the city of Copacabana and the magical Isla del Sol.
This tour will start with the pick up from your hotel in Puno (near or within the historic center) at 6:50 am, we will go by bus to the city of Copacabana which is located in Bolivia.
We will cross the border and arrive at our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will make the walking tour contemplating the facade of the 17th century basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria and we will discover why this city is an important place of pilgrimage in that country.
After visiting this wonderful place we will go for a lunch that includes a chicken or trout dish. Afterwards we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting for us to take us to the nearby Isla del Sol.
When we disembark we will start a guided tour of approximately two hours, we will walk around the entire place and we will go deeper into the origins of the Inca culture admiring the millenary sanctuaries. After our visit to the Sun Island we will take the boat again to return to the city of Copacabana. In this place we will change transportation to return to the city of Puno by bus, where we will arrive at approximately 8:30 pm.
