The Pacaya Samiria Full Day Reserve is an intensive experience that allows visitors to explore the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in a single day.
Our team will pick you up at the meeting point in Iquitos at 8:00 a.m. to begin this exciting day.

We will begin our journey by road to Nauta, where you will be met at the pier by our guide, who will accompany you throughout the day. We will board a comfortable boat to navigate the Marañon River and head towards the source of the Amazon River, located between the Marañon and Ucayali Rivers (Ucamara).
During the trip, we will enjoy the spectacular view while observing the fascinating gray and pink dolphins that inhabit these waters.

Optional: We will make a stop to swim in the “Yarapa” river, known for its black waters. You will feel the unique energy of the Amazon rainforest as you dive into these refreshing waters.

We will enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch on board the boat, with authentic dishes from the region.
We will explore areas of the jungle to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, an experience that will bring you closer to the rich biodiversity of the Amazon.

We will participate in fishing for piranhas and other Amazonian species, an exciting activity that is part of daily life in the jungle.

We will continue the expedition with the observation of impressive giant trees, some of which are emblematic of the region.

We will conclude our activities and head to the Nauta pier to prepare for our return trip. Approximate time of arrival 19:00
