Explore some of the great spectacles in Peru on a trip with majestic views. Your guide leads you to valleys crowded with nature and archeological sites, then shows you the home of the Andean Condor.
Your trip begins in Cusco city before you head to the district of Limatambo. During the tour, you will visit two beautiful and interesting archaeological Inca sites: Quillarumiyoc and Tarawasi, which possibly were once used as astronomical observatories by the Incas. You will continue to the village of Limatambo where you will have lunch.
The adventure continues with a panoramic view of the community of Chonta, located in the snowfall of the Salkantay and Humantay mountains. Once in Chonta, after walking along a beautiful route next to the Apurimac canyon, you will finally reach the viewpoint of Huaco, which is located on the right side of the canyon of the Apurimac River.
From the viewpoint, you will have a spectacular view of the Apurimac Canyon and you will have the opportunity to appreciate the impressive Andean Condor in its natural habitat. The Condor is the largest flanking bird of prey in the world, considered sacred by the Incas. With some luck you can also observe some birds like Eagles, Hawks, and White-tailed deer. After visiting and enjoying this beautiful trip, you will return to the city of Cusco.
