Climb the Misti volcano with this two-day expedition departing from Arequipa. You will experience a journey surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes at an altitude of over 5800 metres.
Day 1
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the Misti volcano via the Chiguata route. After a two-hour drive, we will reach an altitude of 3300 m. Are you ready for the adventure?

Once there, we will start the ascent on foot up the slope of the volcano. We will walk admiring the incredible views that this place offers us until we reach the desired base camp, located at 4800 metres.

After six hours of walking, we will have dinner and rest at the camp until the next day.

Day 2
After a good early start, we will enjoy a comforting breakfast of tortillas, toast and a hot drink to replenish our strength. We will need it! Afterwards, we will start the ascent to the summit of the Misti volcano.

We will make a long hike to reach 5825 metres. When we reach our goal, you will have an hour of free time to take beautiful pictures of the views from the crater of the volcano, you will be the envy of your family and friends!

Finally, we will start the descent to an altitude of 3300 metres, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to Arequipa. Arrival at your hotels is scheduled for 14:00 hours.
