Huaraz: Nevado Pastoruri + Puyas Raymondi Forest

Embark on an exciting adventure and explore one of the most iconic snow-capped peaks of Huaraz, the Pastoruri. You will also have the opportunity to discover the impressive Puyas Raimondi.
- We will begin our excursion at 9:00 a.m., heading south of the Callejón de Huaylas. Along the way, we will pass through picturesque villages such as Recuya, Ticapampa and Catac, each with its own unique charm.

- As we progress, we will arrive at the picturesque village of Pachacoto. From there we will take the detour to the majestic Cordillera Blanca, following the Carpa sector to approach our destination.

- Our first stop will be at a fascinating natural gasified spring, where we will be able to observe the bubbling waters. Then, we will head to the impressive 7-color lagoon, Pumapashimi, to marvel at its vibrant hues. Next, we will explore the amazing Puyas Raimondi forest, the imposing Andean plants that represent one of the most emblematic species of the Peruvian Andes.

- Continuing with our tour, we will arrive at the base station from where we will begin a hike to the majestic Pastoruri snow-capped mountain, located at 5,000 meters above sea level. We will have enough time to explore and enjoy the impressive views and the glacial environment.

- Finally, we will return to the city of Huaraz.
