From Huaraz || Expedition Mountains and Lakes || 3D2N

Visit and explore the impressive richness of Huaraz, where you will see the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, the Pastoruri glaciers, and the turquoise-colored lakes that stand out for their beauty.
Day 1: Arrival in Huaraz and Excursion to Laguna Parón

- We start with hotel pickup at 8:00 am to head towards the city of Caraz, 70 km from Huaraz.

- Here, we begin an uphill hike on a dirt road to reach the stunning Laguna Parón.

- We can admire Andean flora and gaze at the beautiful mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, such as Artesonraju (Mount Paramount), Pirámide de Garcilazo, and Caraz. The turquoise waters make this destination an unforgettable experience.

- After exploring the area, we return via the same route to Caraz and continue back to Huaraz. The excursion concludes between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm.

Day 2: Nevado Pastoruri

- Today, we head south of Huaraz.

- First, we stop at the Carpa sector, from where we begin our visit to Patococha lagoon, famous for its wild ducks.

- Next, we appreciate the frothy waters naturally emerging from underground.

- Continuing our adventure, we reach Pumapampa, where we find the Laguna de los 7 Colores Infinitos and the Puyas Raymondi forest, the most representative plant of the Andes.

- Finally, we visit Nevado Pastoruri, taking photos and exploring its icy lake and ice walls, before returning to Huaraz.

Day 3: Trek to Laguna 69 - Return to Huaraz

- We depart around 5:30 am in a private vehicle, heading to the charming Llanganuco Valley.

- Passing through the park control, we zigzag through the Llanganuco Gorge and enjoy views of the nearby Chinancocha and Orconcocha lakes.

- After a brief stop, we head to Cebollapampa, the starting point for the thrilling hike to Laguna 69.

- The hike to the lake takes approximately 3 hours and lies just below the imposing Chacraraju mountain (6112 m).

- We return along the same trail for 2 hours to Cebollapampa, where our transportation awaits to take us back to Huaraz.
