Itinerary:

DAY 1
Arrival: Reception at the airport or bus station, followed by a transfer to the Lodge office for a briefing.
Boat Ride: Head to the port for a one-hour boat ride to the lodge, greeted with refreshing regional fruit juice upon arrival.
Guided Hike: Embark on a two-hour guided hike through the dense tropical forest. Discover ancient trees and observe wildlife such as toucans, orioles, parrots, monkeys, snakes, and butterflies within the Tambopata National Reserve.
Lunch: Enjoy a meal at the lodge.
Monkey Island: Visit "Monkey Island" across the Madre de Dios River to see brown capuchins, squirrel monkeys, saddle-back tamarins, and white capuchins.
Caiman Search: After dinner, search for caimans along the riverbanks and possibly spot capybaras. Bring a flashlight for this activity.
Overnight: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2
Early Breakfast: Start the day early with a hearty breakfast.
Lake Sandoval: Take a short boat ride to the Lake Sandoval entrance, followed by a 3-kilometer walk to the lake. Navigate the lake by rowing boat to observe birds and monkeys, including hoatzins, puma herons, eagles, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, black capuchins, tamarins, and sloths. Look out for giant river otters and large alligators.
Lunch: Return to the lodge for a typical lunch.
Night Walk: Explore the jungle at night to see insects, amphibians, reptiles, and other nocturnal creatures.
Dinner and Rest: Enjoy dinner and rest at the lodge.

DAY 3
Early Morning Jungle Walk: At 5:30 a.m., experience the Canopy Walk-Way, 30 meters high, offering a panoramic view of the rainforest and Madre de Dios River. Observe toucans and macaws from the platforms.
Breakfast: After the canopy walk, enjoy breakfast.
Zip-Line: Prepare for an adrenaline-filled zip-line activity. An instructor will guide you on using the safety harness. Experience the thrill of gliding through the trees.
Lunch and Rest: Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Kayaking: In the afternoon, cross the Madre de Dios River by kayak and enjoy the sunset.
Fishing: Try artisanal fishing in the Madre de Dios River, possibly catching species like catfish.
Dinner and Rest: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4
Departure: After breakfast, return to the city and transfer to the airport or bus station.
