This 2-Day 1 Night Lake Mburo National Park Wildlife Safari Adventure takes you to one of Uganda’s smallest National Park, it's approximately 240km by road west of Kampala and about a 4-hour drive.
The Lake Mburo National Park is home to over 68 mammal species such as buffaloes, bush pigs, and leopards, and is famous for having large numbers of Zebras and various bird species. The park also has great sceneries, from the rolling hills, the lush forests to the Savannah grasslands, and seasonal swamps to lakes. There are 5 lakes in the Lake Mburo National Park where by you can engage in sport fishing for opportunities to catch large tilapia and other fish species, also large numbers of hippos occupy the lakes. While in the park on your Night Game drive you might not want to miss out on seeing the leopards, hyenas, and side-stripped jackals if lucky.

DAY 1: Depart Kampala / Entebbe for Lake Mburo National Park, an evening Boat ride.
Our Driver Guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Kampala and drive towards the Western part of Uganda passing through small towns like Lyantonde and Masaka towns along the Kampala-Mbarara road. You will have a stopover at the equator monument for a water experiment and Photographs. Later on arrival in the park, continue for lunch at the Restaurant or lodge of your choice after proceeding along the park trails where you will spot various animals such as the elands, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, and many others. In the evening you will have a two-hour boat ride excursion along the lake where you will have great chances to see different animals like crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds like the African fish eagles and the rare African fin foot. Many animals such as buffaloes and antelopes gather here to drink water so an opportunity to enjoy wildlife, especially marine animals. After your boat cruise drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight at Budget accommodation: Eagle’s Nest or Leopards.

DAY 2: Morning Game drive & Travel back to Kampala
Have an early morning breakfast and start a 3-hour game drive through the Park. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. A game drive in Lake Mburo National Park will guarantee you herds of buffaloes, zebras, impalas, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, birds and so much more without driving so much also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. After the game travel back to Kampala with a stopover at Mpambire Royal Drum Makers for you to see how local drums are made out of trees and animal hides and skins. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
