Dresden is beautiful any time, but particularly bewitching during Advent and Christmas. Explore the cobbled streets of Dresden with a walking tour in English of the historic city centre and learn about the city’s turbulent history from your knowledgeable guide.
Begin your tour at Schlossplatz on the River Elbe and then weave your way through Theaterplatz with one of Europe's most beautiful opera houses and the State Art Collections housed in the magnificent buildings surrounding the square. We walk around the Royal Palace, the Cathedral which reflects Dresden's tumultuous religious history and the magnificent Church of Our Lady on Neumarkt.

The tour will take place under all weather conditions if we have accepted bookings, please dress appropriately for the cold. Remember that Dresden's streets are cobbled and it can become slippery when there is snow. So please make sure your shoes have a good grip.
Meeting point: At the base of the statue of Friedrich August I seated on his throne on Schlossplatz Dresden (This is the square near the river, at the foot of the Augustus Bridge). Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins.
