Pikey Peak Trek Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,593 ft)
Arrive in Kathmandu and take some time to rest. Explore the streets of Thamel and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner.

Day 1: Drive to Dhap Bazaar (2,930m / 9,613 ft)
Activities: Depart early from Kathmandu for a scenic drive to Dhap Bazaar, which takes around 7-8 hours. Enjoy views of the countryside, rivers, and terraced fields along the way.
Accommodation: Teahouse in Dhap Bazaar.

Day 2: Trek to Jhapre (2,820m / 9,252 ft)
Trekking Hours: 4-5 hours
Activities: Begin your trek through picturesque landscapes, passing through small villages and lush terraced fields. Enjoy views of Everest and other peaks in the distance. Arrive in Jhapre, a quaint village with a small monastery and beautiful surroundings.
Accommodation: Teahouse in Jhapre.

Day 3: Trek to Pikey Base Camp (3,640m / 11,942 ft)
Trekking Hours: 5-6 hours
Activities: Continue your ascent through dense forests filled with rhododendrons and pine trees. As you gain altitude, the landscape opens up, offering stunning views of the Himalayan range. Reach Pikey Base Camp and take in the serene mountain environment.
Accommodation: Teahouse at Pikey Base Camp.

Day 4: Trek to Jasmane Bhanjyang (3500m / 11,482 ft)
Trekking Hours: 5-6 hours
Activities: Start early to hike to Pikey Peak (4,065m / 13,333 ft) the summit of Pikey Peak, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, including Everest. After soaking in the views, descend through varied terrain to the village of Jasmane Bhanjyang.
Accommodation: Teahouse at Jasmane Bhanjyang.

Day 5: Trek from Jasmane Bhanjyang () to Junbesi (2,675m / 8,776 ft)
Trekking Hours: 6-7 hours
Activities: Start your day trekking after having breakfast towards the charming village of Junbesi. Spend some time exploring Junbesi, a traditional Sherpa village. Visit the Thubten Chholing Monastery. Interact with the local monks and learn about their way of life.
Accommodation: Teahouse in Junbesi.

Day 6: Trek to Phaplu (2,413m / 7,917 ft) and drive to Kathmandu
Trekking Hours: 3-4 hours
Driving Hours: 7-8 hours
Activities: Trek through beautiful forests and picturesque Sherpa villages on your way to Phaplu. Arrive in Phaplu and prepare for your journey back to Kathmandu. Depending on availability and weather conditions, either take a short flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu or enjoy a scenic drive back, which takes around 7-8 hours. Reflect on the incredible experiences and memories of your Pikey Peak trek. Relax and enjoy your final evening in the city.
