Start with pickup from your Kathmandu hotel, before your private guide takes you on a scenic 90-minute drive to Nagarkot. Along the winding roads, pass by small villages, teahouses, forests, and mountain panoramas in the distance.
Nagarkot sits about 19 miles (30 kilometers) from Kathmandu. Enjoy the sunrise and see the Everest Range, Annapurna Range, the Langtang Range, the Mansiri Range, Rolwaling Range, and other Himalayan mountains in the distance.
Follow your guide down a walking trail to the village of Rohini Bhanjyang, which offers more mountain views. Continue through the hamlets of Kankre and Tanchok to Tusal, then ascend uphill through farmland to Opi. An hour further down the road, walk into Dhulikhel, a picturesque hill station surrounded by natural beauty. Take some time to relax and snap photos in Dhulikhel before your private driver collects you and your guide.
Relax on the one-hour return drive to Kathmandu where your tour ends with hotel drop-off in the early evening.
