विवरण

In the Annapurna Conservation area of Nepal, the Nar Phu Valley trek combines the trekking of Nar and Phu and consists of three passes including Phu Pass, Nar Pass, and Kangla Pass.
The Nar Phu Valley trek is a newly open trekking route in the Annapurna region that lies in a restricted trekking area. On the Nar Phu Valley trek, you’ll get a breathtaking view of the majestic mountain peaks including Mount Annapurna, the Manosiri Himalayan range, and Lamjung Himal. Nar Phu Valley Trek is a great trekking route to get an amazing view of Mount Annapurna and explore the natural landscape of Nepal.

The Nar Phu Valley trek is not only about the natural beauty of Nepal but also the combination of cultural immersion of the valley. Many ancient monasteries including Tashi Lha Khang monastery, make your journey culturally immersive. The Nar Phu Valley trek takes you through several high passes, remote villages, glaciers, dense forests, and most importantly the unique ethnically Tibetan Buddhist cultures. The unique wildlife including snow leopard is a major highlight of the trek. The Nar Phu Valley trek journey starts from a beautiful drive towards Chame from Kathmandu and then trek towards Dharapani. The trek takes you to the popular places to trek including Yak Kharka, Thorung Phedi, and the highest pass Thorung La Pass (5416m). Since the Nar Phu Valley trek takes you through different high passes, it is necessary to be in good physical condition, to acclimatize properly during the trek, and to listen to your body.

Before starting the Nar Phu Valley it is recommended to be involved in physical fitness courses and be ready for the challenges. With proper planning and acclimatization, you can complete the trek. Nar Phu Valley Trek is recommended to trek from March to May and September to November, as these months provide stable weather conditions that will help to complete your trek with fewer challenges. Avoid trekking Nar Phu Valley from December to January as these months fall under the Winter season, when you feel extremely cold and the routes will be full of snow during these months, making your trekking journey challenging.

Also, avoid trekking from June to August due to the monsoon season in these months your trekking trails are slippery, making your trekking journey difficult. Nar Phu Valley trek requires two compulsory permits, one is a Nar Phu Valley restricted area permit as it falls under a restricted area and another is the Annapurna area conservation permit. The trek is perfect for those who want a less crowded route and want to experience the unspoiled natural beauty of the region.
