Kathmandu and Birth Place of Buddha ( Lumbini ) Tour

Day 1. The tour package starts with an arrival in the breathtaking valley of Kathmandu, where you will be immersed in the city’s vibrant culture and warm hospitality.
On this day, you will arrive in Kathmandu’s stunning valley. At the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, our tour representative will be waiting to pick you up. Once the visa procedure is complete, our representative will drive you in a private vehicle to one of Kathmandu’s top hotels.

Day 2. We will tour historical monuments and UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu, including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Patan Durbar Square, and Kumari Temple. After admiring these landmarks’ exquisite arts and crafts, we will return to the Hotel for the night.

Maya Devi Temple: Start your journey at the Maya Devi Temple, the focal point of Lumbini, marking the exact spot where Lord Buddha was born. The temple houses the marker stone and the ruins of the ancient temple. It's a serene place for meditation and reflection.

Ashoka Pillar: Located near the Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, is one of the oldest historical monuments in Nepal. The pillar bears an inscription identifying Lumbini as the birthplace of Buddha.

Sacred Garden: Explore the Sacred Garden surrounding the Maya Devi Temple, which features various monasteries, stupas, and ponds donated by Buddhist communities from around the world.

World Peace Pagoda: Take a stroll to the World Peace Pagoda, also known as the Shanti Stupa, located outside the main complex. The pagoda offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and symbolizes peace and harmony.
