Kathmandu: Leisurely 12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek

Take a thrilling, tough, and amazing Himalayan trek from Lukla to Kala Patthar. The hike is a mostly steady climb from 2,800 meters to 5,545 meters, and takes you through the valley of the Dudh Koshi River to the Sagarmatha.
Over the course of an exciting 12 days, travel with your guide all the way from Lukla Airport to the Everest Base Camp - at 5,450 meters above sea level, and back again. Take in an array of unforgettable highlights during this nearly two week trek, taking part in an experience that will supply you with memories to last a lifetime.

During your trip, walk an average of 5 to 6 hours each day. With this in mind, it is important that participants are in good physical condition. While this trek does not involve technical aspects, any previous mountain trekking experience is definitely a plus.

Your tour begins with one of the most exciting and scenic flights in the world: Kathmandu to Lukla. Although only 35 minutes, take in all that makes the Himalayas so incredible. Once you arrive to Lukla, your long trek immediately begins. Make your way through several great locations on the way to Everest Base Camp, some of which include Namche Bazaar, Dingboche, Tengboche, and Lobuche.

After you’ve experienced the wonderment of Everest Base Camp, take in the fantastic view of the great peak at Kalapattar. Afterwards, begin your journey back to Lukla, from where you enjoy the same scenic flight back to Kathmandu.
