During the winter months, Kalinchowk is a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding. The area receives heavy snowfall during this time, and visitors can enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of the surrounding mountains.
One of the main attractions of Kalinchowk is the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple, which is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. The temple is situated at the top of a hill and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors can also enjoy trekking and hiking in the area, as there are many trails that lead to beautiful viewpoints and natural landmarks.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive to Makaibari. From here we'll begin our trek and walk to Kuri. (Trek time: 5 hours)
Day 2:
Early in the morning , we'll hike up to Kalinchowk hill for sunrise view after which we will hike to Chirikot.
(Trek time: 5 hours)
Day 3:
Today we'lll explore Chirikot and then drive back to Kathmandu.
