From Lukla: Lobuche East Peak (6,119m) Climbing

Start your journey in Lukla and trek to Namche Bazaar, Gokyo, Cho La at 5420 meters, and Kala Pathar. Along the way, discover the Sherpa country, their culture, Mani walls, prayer flags, yaks, and turquoise lakes.

Ascend to the summit of Lobuche East Peak, which is classified as a difficult peak. The first ascent was made on April 25, 1984 by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen. The South-East ridge is the normal climbing route for climbing East Lobuche.

This route consists of a mix of rock, snow, and ice climbing. Climb the 45-degree snow slopes. Most sections on the Lobuche have fixed ropes. From the top, enjoy the great view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori.
