9 Day Langtang and Helambu Trek

Take a 9-day trek through the Langtang region, north of Katmandu and just south of the Tibetan border. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range
Despite being very close to the Kathmandu valley, Langtang is a splendid trekking area with treks ranging between 7 and 10 days. The Langtang trek starts within the forest line and goes all the way up to the alpine line. Climb this mountainous range, past snow-capped peaks of 7,000 meters or higher.

This area is a fine choice for those who want to undertake an alpine trek but do not have time for a longer trek. In this vast mountain landscape, you will trek through remote villages with a touch of Tibetan culture.

Cross flower meadows and enjoy the views to rugged peaks. If trekking in spring, you will also have the chance to enjoy the splendours of the rhododendron in flower.


Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1,345 meters).
One of the representative from HSA will be waiting you outside the international airport terminal gate holding your name and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing,
After breakfast, you proceed to the Kathmandu Valley sightseeing places in which you will visit the major world heritage sites and beautiful attractions around the valley throughout today. Some of these might be:-

Durbar Squares
Three durbar squares in the valley representing the major cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur (Patan) here resemble the rich history, art, and culture of the Kathmandu Valley. Among them, you will visit Patan Durbar Square.

Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square is a fascinating combination of palace buildings, artistic courtyards, and graceful pagoda temples. The Krishna Mandir (Temple) from the 17th century is a major attraction. The patanPatan museum contains bronze statues and other religious objects which has great significance. Durbar Square has both religious and cultural importance and the surroundings are artistically beautiful.
Pashupatinath Temple:
The Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Asia with over 500 small and big shrines, Lingams, and temples in the temple complex.
Boudhanath Stupa:
The largest stupa and center of Tibetan Buddhism that is in the Kathmandu valley. One of the best places to relax and take a hint of Buddhist culture is in Kathmandu.
After the Sightseeing, we will drive you back to the hotel.
Swayambhunath Temple:
Also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, this is one of the oldest heritage sites in Nepal. From the top viewpoint, you will have an amazing view of the capital city “Kathmandu”.
Day 3: Sundarijal to Chisopani (2,300 meters).

Day 4: Chisopani to Khutumsang (2,470 meters).

Day 5: Khutumsang to Tharepati (3,490 meters).

Day 6: Tharepati to Tarke Gyang (2,620 meters).

Day 7: Tarke Ghyang to Sermathang (2,620 meters).

Day 8: Sermathang to Malemchi Pul Bazar (846 meters) and drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 9: Final departure to onward destination.
Our Driver will transfer you to the International Airport to connect the international flight.
