Our journey begins at the Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico, where we meet before taking public transport to the bustling neighborhood of La Merced. Here, we’ll navigate through aisles filled with traditional Mexican goods, starting with a delicious breakfast of Quesadillas, Tlacoyos, or Gorditas (vegetarian options available), accompanied by coffee or water.

As we explore La Merced, you'll sample a variety of Mexican fruits, vegetables, and different types of mole, gaining insights into local culinary practices and ingredients. We’ll also venture into sections dedicated to medicinal plants and magical items, showcasing the rich syncretism of Mexican beliefs and practices.

Next, we’ll head to San Juan Market, renowned for its gourmet and exotic foods. At our special spot in the market, you’ll get to taste grasshoppers and enjoy a mezcal tasting to round off the experience.
