From Marrakesh: Atlas Mountains Private Day Trip with Lunch

The first stop on the tour is the city of Tahanaoute. Visit a special cooperative where Berber women produce argan oil. You’ll get to try it in a traditional breakfast along with olive oil, organic honey, and fresh bread. After your meal, learn about the Berbers’ daily life.
From Tahanaoute, venture higher to Azrou. It’s the oldest village in the Haouz region. Discover the area’s history of Jewish and Muslim settlement from your guide. Admire the high peaks while starting out on a nearby hiking path. The noise of the cars will drift away.
Cross through several Berber villages before reaching Moulay Brahim. At 4,430 feet high (1,350 meters), the town offers sweeping views of Toubkal and the other mountains. Begin your descent and pass through the Berber village of Asni. It’s well-known for the market it hosts on Saturdays.
After finishing the loop, head to Achain. Once home to the district commander, the village is well-known locally for its kasbah. Stop in town to take pictures and enjoy a traditional lunch. Meat and vegetables cooked in a tajine are served with salad and soup along with mint tea and fresh fruit.
Spend some time in the nearby valley. Waterfalls and the surrounding mountains make for great pictures. Follow your guide to Armed, the last village in Imlil. Hear more stories about the region on the way to the town center, where the driver awaits. 
On the way back, stop off in the desert outside Marrakesh. Admire the rolling dunes from the back of a camel. The ride takes a little under an hour. Dress up as a Berber and snap photos of yourself and your fellow guests. Finish the trip back in Marrakesh.
