DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGE – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI
Wake up refreshed and ready for a day of adventure, as our tour takes you to witness the magnificent Dades gorges before continuing the journey to Merzouga. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring 300-meter high Todgha Gorge in Tinghir, capturing incredible memories along the way. Enjoy a delicious lunch and explore the ancient irrigation system before arriving in Merzouga. Distance: The distance between Merzouga and Marrakech is around 560 kilometers (350 miles), so in the last day journey usually takes about 8 hours by road. The duration may vary depending on factors such as traffic, road conditions, and any stops along the way.
Weather and climate: The Sahara Desert can have extreme temperatures, especially during the summer months. It's crucial to pack appropriate clothing, including hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lightweight, breathable clothing. However, temperatures can drop significantly at night, so warm layers are also essential.
We will arrange a convenient pickup from your accommodation to begin your 3-day trip. In the event that your riad/hotel is not directly accessible by car, we will coordinate a meeting point that is easily reachable by transportation near your accommodation.
