Langkawi: Mangrove Kayaking by Farly

The ultimate way in experiencing the mangrove kayaking in Langkawi by Farly. A naturalist, photographer, lifeguard and a licensed tourist guide from 2006. This is as good as it gets.
The mangrove kayaking is the best way to explore the fauna and flora of our Kilim Geoforest Park. Start from our private floating kayaking base away from the other crowds on floating restaurants. Explore the narrowest passages only manageable by kayak. If you are a nature enthusiast this is the way to go. Minimum of 2 person.

The standard itinerary is as follows:
0950hrs Meeting at Check Point 1 of Kilim Geoforest Park
1000hrs Depart from the Kilim jetty.
1030hrs Briefing on board the floating kayaking base. Drinking water and dry bags given.
1100hrs Kayaking begins from the main river. The mangrove interpretation would be done from time to time.
1300hrs Back at the kayaking base.
1330hrs Arrival at the Kilim Jetty. Lunch at the food court. End of trip.

Photography
I use an iphone 15 pro max for my photos which is easier when it comes to transferring photos to my guest using Airdrop. On the other hand
with Android users I will transfer it on Whatsapp HD features. For my guest from China of course on We Chat. All at no extra cost as photography is my passion as well from photos of my guest and lurking wild life in the mangroves. For wild life photos especially soaring eagles a Canon Apsc Dslr with 3 lenses, a kit lens, prime 50mm lens and a telephoto 70-300mm lens. Please let me know in advance if you need to use it. All at no extra cost of course.

For photo enthusiast or beginners can always ask me for a tutorial in learning the basics of photography handling the M,A,S,P keys with ISO functions in order to get brilliant photos. It is the same as well on the features of your iphone and Android phones. Do you know that the iphone 15 pro max takes brilliant portrait shots on a 5 X zoom? It is equivalent to a 135mm prime lens on a Dslr.

Kayaks
I use different type of kayaks which suits the best buoyancy for my guest. An Asian standard single kayak, A European single kayak for more leg room, An Asian double kayak, A European double kayak and 2 + 1 kayaks for 2 adults and 1 child in the middle. All the kayaks comes with padded seats as well for your comfort. Seriously speaking it is sad to know that a few operators are still using the kayaks which are more than 10 years old and just one type that leaves their guest with no choice. Be careful because there are a few operators doing what I call a hit and run business where they would not expect their guest to return back. Cest la Vie!
