Malacca is an immensely popular city outside Kuala Lumpur. It takes 2 hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. Malacca is also known as Melaka to the locals. It is also crowned as the "Historical State" of Malaysia.
A fascinating blend of Portuguese, Dutch and British influences have made Malacca one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia.
Your tour starts at St. Peter's Church and Dutch Square, from where you will head off to A Famosa. This site, a tiny gate is what is left of a once mighty Portuguese fortress, is the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. This site's rich historical background earned it a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in July 2008.
Then, enjoy an authentic Malacca local lunch at the Peranakan Restaurant. If you are staying out of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, kindly take a cab and wait for us at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur. If you need pick up from outskirt hotels, you may talk to local operator about the chargers which can be paid directly upon pick up. Driver details will be sent via WhatsApp by 9 PM one day before the tour
