Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, head north to Samburu National Reserve, famous for unique species like Grevy's zebra and gerenuk. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, where animals gather to drink. Dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu

Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for the "Samburu Special Five" and predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy downtime at the lodge between drives. Dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Begin with an early game drive in Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, continue to Lake Naivasha. After lunch, enjoy an optional boat ride (extra cost) for close-up views of hippos and various bird species. Dinner and overnight near Lake Naivasha.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the Maasai Mara, arriving for lunch. Your first afternoon game drive in this wildlife-rich reserve offers the chance to see the Big Five. Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Enjoy a full day in the Mara, with game drives at dawn and dusk. The reserve's vast plains are home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more. For an unforgettable experience, opt for a hot air balloon safari (additional $450). Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

An early morning game drive lets you capture final wildlife moments. After breakfast, journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Check in to your hotel for an evening at leisure. Dinner on your own, overnight in Nairobi.

Day 9: Departure from Nairobi

After breakfast, the Jossec Safaris team will transfer you to the airport for your flight home, sending you off with fond memories of Kenya.
