From Delhi : 2 Days Agra Tour With Mathura Vrindavan

A 2-day tour of Agra with Mathura and Vrindavan is a fantastic way to explore some of the most culturally and historically rich cities in India. Below is an itinerary that covers the major attraction
Day 1: Agra
Morning:
Start your day early and head straight to the iconic Taj Mahal. Witness the beauty of this magnificent white marble mausoleum built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It's best to visit in the morning to avoid large crowds and to catch the stunning sunrise over the Taj. After visiting the Taj Mahal, you can have breakfast at a local restaurant.
Mid-morning:
Visit Agra Fort, another unesco World Heritage site, which served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until Delhi became the capital. Explore its impressive architecture and learn about its historical significance.
Lunch:
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor some of the famous Mughlai cuisine.
Afternoon:
If time permits, you can visit Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, also known as the "Baby Taj," a beautiful tomb built before the Taj Mahal. Explore the local markets and shops in Agra to pick up souvenirs or handicrafts.
Evening:
Return to the Taj Mahal for a sunset view. The changing colors of the monument during sunset are a breathtaking sight.
Alternatively, you can visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden across the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal, which offers an excellent view of the monument during sunset.

Day 2: Mathura and Vrindavan
Morning:
Leave Agra early in the morning and head to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, located about 58 km away.
Visit the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, which is the main attraction in Mathura, as it marks the exact place where Lord Krishna was born.
Explore other important temples in Mathura, such as Dwarkadhish Temple and Vishram Ghat.
Lunch:
Have lunch at a local restaurant in Mathura.
Afternoon:
Head to Vrindavan, located about 10 km from Mathura, which is closely associated with the life of Lord Krishna.
Visit the Banke Bihari Temple, one of the most famous and revered temples in Vrindavan.
Explore other important temples in Vrindavan, such as the iskcon temple, Prem Mandir, and Radha Raman Temple.
Evening:
In the evening, you can participate in the mesmerizing experience of the evening aarti (prayer ceremony) at the iskcon temple.
Afterward, start your journey back to Agra or your onward destination.
