Richtis Gorge - Hiking Adventure

At 8:30 am we will set off from Sitia to the picturesque village of Exo Mouliana to reach the entrance of Richtis. Our adventure begins at 9:00am as we hike through the Gorge, winding our way under the lush green with the cicadas accompanying us with their song.
The pièce de résistance awaits! 20 minutes before the end our hike, we'll stumble upon a breathtaking waterfall, where we'll take a refreshing dip and capture unforgettable photos.

As we continue our journey, the gorge will lead us to the pebbled and rugged beach of Exo Mouliana, where we'll indulge in delicious homemade snacks accompanied by traditional Cretan music. It's the perfect setting to unwind and soak up the sun.

Logistics:

Departure time from Sitia: 8:30am
Hiking duration: 2 hours, with 30 minutes of leisure time at the waterfall
Leisure time at the beach for snacks: 1 hour (please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions)
Departure time from Richtis: 12:30pm
Arrival time back in Sitia: 1:00pm

Participants should wear suitable shoes and clothes for hiking/walking in nature and have with them a small backpack with all the necessary accessories (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water) for the activity, as well as any medication they might be taking. We need to be informed in advance in case of any health conditions. Please note that the activity is subject to change due to weather conditions (e.g. extremely hot or windy weather). Your safety is our number one priority.
