Design your own big spin painting on Germany's unique spin art machine. Head to Jans Echternacht Art School, spin a canvas at dizzying speeds, and get a stunning work of art to take home.
Take a break from browsing Mauerpark's many booths and design and create your own spin art in a private session at Jans Echternacht. Create a piece on your own or work with friends to develop a spin art masterpiece as a reminder of your time in Berlin.
Begin with a blank circular canvas stretched out to 80 centimeters. With the help of an instructor, start the spin art machine. Use a different color to create unique motives and color combinations. Every so often, stop the spinning to check how your work is progressing. Once you've decided your next move, start the spin machine up again.
After a few rounds of spinning, your work is complete. Leave the work with your instructor for a day to let it fully dry, and return the next day to pick it up. For ease of travel, add on a 5 EUR roll to keep your artwork safe on the plane.
If you want to create one work of art with several people, you only need to pay for one piece. If each member of your group prefers to create their own work, book for as many works as you like.
