Day 1: This tour gives you an opportunity to explore the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi and other sights of interest in Georgia within 2 days. Our driver and the guide will pick you up from your hotel and start the tour to Tbilisi. The first day is fully dedicated to Tbilisi. We will visit the Holy Trinity cathedral, one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world. After, we will visit Saint Gevorg Church, Metekhi church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, who is the founder of Tbilisi. Then take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking view of the city. Walk down to the Abanotubani district to see the famous bathhouses. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops. After we will visit the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre and cross the Bridge of Peace leading to Rike Park.

The overnight is foreseen in Tbilisi.

Day 2: After the breakfast we will drive to the North of Tbilisi to visit one of the oldest cities of Georgia, Mtskheta. The city was founded in the 5th century BC. The old city lies at the confluence of the rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi. It is home to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) and Jvari Monastery (6th century), which are amongst the most significant monuments of Georgian Christian architecture, and are historically significant in the development of medieval architecture throughout the Caucasus. Mtskheta, as well as Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari are listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
