Aix en Provence Market & Gourmet Food Tour with a Local Gourmet Tour

Do you.. Want to visit one of the oldest living markets in Europe? Try and buy gourmet French Provençal products? Discover where the locals shop and avoid 'tourist traps'? Then join us!
We will meet by the Tourism Office (there are charge points, A/C and free Wifi, plus public toilets nearby.
We will walk to the first market - the famous flower market! Here we will not only see the flowers but smell them they are so fresh. Warning - wear sunglasses if you have hayfever :P
Then we will go through the main market and taste some of the foods. You will have the pleasure to discuss with the vendors (we translate from French to English for you) and buy their products as souvenirs - plus get samples of the food they sell. They are friendly here and it's normal for them to offer you a taster - not like a supermarket!
Next we will sit at a local favourite for coffee break (this is included in the tour price and includes a small surprise - you'll have to wait and see what it is!)
Then, we will try the local delicacy, the Calisson, and learn stories of how it is made.
Finally, we will walk through some of the streets, take some souvenir photos, until we reach a classical café to get some wine and snacks (Also included - but we have a choice where depending on the day - it will be up to you to decide based on the options we offer you and the group vote).
