Depart from Sharm El Sheikh for a nighttime climb to the top of Mount Sinai. Enjoy the sunrise at the peak, then descend to St. Catherine's Monastery with a guide.
Drive from Sharm El Sheikh to climb Mount Sinai for a nighttime hike to the top. You’ll reach the summit before dawn and will witness a magnificent sunrise over the desert below. Afterward, climb down to visit St Catherine’s Monastery.
You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Sharm El Sheikh in an air-conditioned car. After about 3 hours of driving, you’ll reach St. Catherine National Park and begin your climb to the top of Mount Sinai with a Bedouin guide.
Reaching the summit before dawn, you’ll have plenty of time to get comfortable and admire the spectacular sunrise. Take in panoramic views over the Sinai desert before you begin your climb down to the monastery.
The monastery was established in AD 565 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have some time to explore the oldest continuously operating Christian monastery in the world.
At the end of your tour, you'll be transferred back to your accommodation in Sharm El Sheikh.
