From Medellín: Jardín, Andes, and Hispania Day Trip

The tour begins early in the morning with departure from Medellín. Traveling comfortably in our vehicles, we will immerse ourselves in the green and rolling landscapes of southwestern Antioquia, enjoying the ride to our first destination, the charming town of Hispania. There, we will stroll through its quiet streets, appreciating the serene atmosphere and the warmth of its people.

We continue our journey to Andes, a vibrant town known for its local life and rich coffee tradition. You will be able to explore the area near the main square and learn more about the history and culture of coffee in the region from our expert guide. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Jardín, the main destination of our tour.

Upon arriving in Jardín, you will be greeted by its vibrant streets adorned with flowers and colonial architecture houses. Founded in 1863, Jardín has been an important center of coffee and banana production. We will visit the majestic Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, a neo-Gothic jewel with an imposing carved stone façade. From there, you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the coffee-growing landscapes surrounding Jardín.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can taste the best of typical Antioquian gastronomy in an authentic and cozy atmosphere. After lunch, we continue with a visit to the famous Macanas coffee shop, where you can relax and enjoy the unique aroma of a quality coffee. We will also make a stop at the Casa de los Dulces, an emblematic place, where you will taste the delicious rice pudding, the town's signature dessert.

The tour concludes with a leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets of Jardín, allowing you to capture the essence of the place and take the last pictures before returning to Medellín. You can take the opportunity tobuy souvenirs and handicrafts. We will return to Medellín around 8 PM, closing an intense day of mountains, villages and authentic coffee.
