Discover the traditional way of life in a small village on a guided tour from Siem Reap. Learn about the local customs and culture, and take part in activities such as basket weaving and cake making.
Start your day and travel to a small village around 35 kilometers (about 21.75 mi) southeast of the city. On arrival, meet your community guide who will introduce you to the village and your hosts.
With the help of Discova, the Trei Nhoar are practicing community-based tourism, a sustainable approach to tourism that is created by and benefits the whole community. Take part in activities such as basket weaving, recycling plastic weaving, and Khmer cake making.
On the way back, make one final stop at a Buddhist temple to receive a traditional Khmer blessing from the monks to bring you good fortune for your travels ahead.
