Day: 1
Start: Camp Bang Melea
Finish: Camp Sunsrise (Tamar Chrounh Village)
Distance: 15km
Time: 8 hours

Start the trek at camp Beng Mealea after breakfast, turn left from the camp’s gate and follow the ox-cart trail passing through the farms and rice paddies to reach to Phnom Bey (three peaks). Here, it is the first break and everybody have a chance to explore this holy site and take photos with the local monks whom are living there during the meditation.

Approximately 1.5 hours away at Bung Muroy (an overhanging boulder where one monk resides) is a small stream where shade can be found under the boulder. Stop at this tranquil spot for lunch where many monks come to meditate. After lunch the group will begin their ascent up the mountain range through a narrow and steep path with loose and exposed rock. This is the hardest part of the trek and will challenge the group. There is a good place to break at a small taro plantation next to some large boulders.

When is ready, the group then walk 1.5km to sister Sok’s family to do the sticky – rice cooking class. They are cooking the sticky rice in the bamboo container and this will become lunch for the next day. Return to camp and setup the hammocks and tents before enjoying a campfire.

Day: 2
Start: Camp Sunrise (Tamar Chrounh village)
Finish: Preak Kral Pagoda

Time: 8 hours
Groups to get up early to catch the stunning sunrise from the mountain plateau overlooking the many farms, plantations and rice paddies in the horizon. After breakfast at camp, everyone start the flat trek through the cashew nut farms and passing by sister Sok’s family to get the sticky rice and the follow to the curly rock where the name of the village Tamar chrounh comes after. Next, follow to the vehicle track to the missing royal palace in the jungle. The journey is passing through Tamar Chrounh village and Anlong Thom village, with a possible visit to Anglong Thom pagoda, and the protecting forest. On the way there, groups are going to learn about some traditional medicine plants growing on both sides of the track and in the forest. Here, groups complete half a way of the trek before lunch.
The route to follow to the sunset camp at Wat Preah Kral runs through the jungle from the missing royal palace. It takes a couple hours to another end of the trail. When groups arrive to Wat Preah Kral, drop the back – pack and follow to the sunset view over Siem Reap city from the distance. After dinner the local monk is going to offer the meditation experience to anyone is interested. The lesson takes around 30 minutes.
Then transfer to Reclining Buddha, 1000 Lingas , Swimming at Kulen waterfall till pick up time to Siemreap ,
