Depart from your hotel at around 5:00 AM, so you can get there in time to see the first lights of dawn.
The tour takes around 2.5 hours so you should be back at your hotel at around 7:30 AM, in time to do other activities or tours. You can choose for a photographer to join you to register this incredible moment. That way you don't need to worry about cameras, just pose for pictures and enjoy the experience.
