Want to Samba but have no dance experience? Learn basic Samba moves that you can use in all types of dance in a 1 hour dance crash course! This Samba lesson in Rio is a fun and entertaining time, and lets you experience the true culture of Rio.
The student chooses the kind of dance – Samba no pé (solo Samba), or Samba de Gafiera (partner Samba) – that he or she wants to learn, and participates in one or more private lessons of the chosen style. The private Samba lessons are divided into about 90% practical and 10% theoretical.
The Samba Lesson is lots of fun and you'll find yourself dancing away after the first class. The teacher will explain how this type of dance fits into Brazil’s cultural history as well as Rio’s current night life.
Enjoy a 60-minute dance crash course, and you'll be sure to feel the energy of Samba. After that, you'll be able to go out and practice your new moves in the city's bustling dance clubs.
