Train to the Milky Way proposes to observe the sky "as it is", as it was seen by generations of human beings, and which has had such an influence on our culture.
Today only vestiges of Argentina's extensive railroad network remain... some stations are maintained, and are very beautiful, as are the towns where they are located. These places have a story to tell us...
We propose to start from there on an imaginary journey, as if the tracks were continuing through the sky: a walk through different "stations" of our solar system and the galaxy: "La Vía".
We have selected several stations in the province of Buenos Aires for their tourist attraction as well as for their starry skies. Our tour guide Rubén is specialized in astronomy, with experience in science and tourism (astro-tourism guide in El Calafate, Spanish and English). We have specialized instruments for each type of observation, configured to achieve a visual and sound experience suitable for all ages.
