Discover the natural and cultural beauty of the region in an exciting full day tour. We leave the province of Salta towards the neighboring province of Jujuy, passing through Route 9 and passing through the towns of Volcan (2,070 masl) and Tumbaya, which are perched on the banks of the Rio Grande.
Our first destination is the town of Purmamarca, one of the most beautiful spots in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you can admire the magnificent Cerro de los 7 Colores, visit the main square and explore the artisan stalls. You will also have the option to take a tour of the Paseo de los Colorados, the backside of the Cerro de 7 Colores. Then we will ascend about 2,000 meters up the majestic Cuesta del Lipan, whose highest point is at 4,170 meters above sea level. Finally we will arrive at the Salinas Grandes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Argentine Republic, where you can visit this impressive salt flat and the famous pools. Here passengers will have free time to visit this impressive salt flat and the famous Piletones (Salt Extraction Process).
After an exciting day of exploration, we will return to Purmamarca for lunch and then return to Salta Capital.
