Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving and tour the underwater world at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach. This experience is designed for those with no previous experience.
If you wish to try scuba diving and you have never been underwater before, this Discovery Scuba Diving Activity is your best fit. No swimming skills, no previous experience, and no certification is required.
This is the very first step in discovering the underwater world.
Your Dive Instructor will meet you at the St. Andrews State Park Jetties public area pavilions, located at the end of the parking lot.
First, he will starts with a safety breafing to introduce you the fundamentals of scuba diving (10-15 min). Next he will proceed to the shore diving site and teach you some basic diving skills in shallow water (3ft) to get you comfortable with breathing underwater and make sure you are familiar with underwater sign language.

This experience guarantees you a fun, relaxing and unforgettable time, and your Instructor will make sure you are comfortable, carefree, and safe during your tour.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to unsuitable weather conditions, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
All reservations can be canceled or modified with no penalties at any time prior to 48 hours before the scheduled tour.
All customers agree to pay the full amount of the tour if they do not call prior to 48 hours and/or do not show up at the scheduled trip time.
Late arrivals will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee per person for a diving tour and $15 per person for the snorkel tour.
Must be at least 10 years old.
No Swimming skills, NO Certification, No Experience are required
Arrive at the gate - pay $8 state park entrance fee. After passing the guard station, drive straight until you reach the 3-stop intersection. Take a right turn. Once you pass the alligator pond (on your left side), look for the sign that says BEACHES-JETTY DAY-USE AREAS and turn left. You are at the JETTY parking lot, find a place to park. Check on the pavilions (picnic tables) at the end of the parking lot. Your instructor will be waiting for you there!
Try Diving Fun and the dive instructors are not affiliated with the St Andrews State Park. However, you do need to enter the park to access the public beach where we do our diving and snorkeling.
