Benefit from hotel pick-up or join the tour from a central meeting point. Journey out of Hobart via the Brooker Highway, passing North Hobart and New Town. Richmond is one of Australia's most unique and historic towns, dating from the 1820s. Cross the Richmond Bridge, the oldest convict built road bridge in Australia, and visit Richmond Gaol, operational since 1826.
Explore the village of Richmond to see convict-built homes, classic Georgian mansions and small cottages, many unique shops, galleries, and restaurants.
