Experience Cultural Hong Kong with an excellent local guide and driver team
Your English-speaking Hong Kong tour guide will be waiting for your group at 9:00 am in the lobby of your hotel in the very center of Hong Kong, holding your name sign. Then proceed to the Hong Kong Cultural WEI Village at Sun Street, where each family has its own house surrounded by a high fence. The walls are made of hemp stone with green bricks. There are openings in the four parapet walls. The surrounding buildings are neatly constructed with a clear central axis and the sanctuary is at the end. Then proceed to an interesting wishing tree in the nearby Lam Tsuen, the most famous wishing tree in Hong Kong.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) and then visit the Qingliang Temple, which consists of a number of buildings and is situated at the foot of the Eastern Peak at an altitude of 589 meters above sea level. There are roughly three groups of buildings: At the entrance of the courtyard are the four big characters “Famous Mountain of Fragrant Sea”. On the other side is “Back to the Wrong Side”; the entrance to the mountain is “Castle Peak Zen Temple”, with a couplet on each side of the temple gate, and finally back to your most central Hong Kong hotel.
